Hmmm. I'll choose Story Mode.

Imaskari wandered through the forests. He was alone, as he had always been, since he had destroyed his village. The occasional furry mammal would nip at his heels every so often, but he did not mind. They were his only friends now.

His meanderings brought him out of his normal area, the wood. He could no longer sense the closeness of the trees, nor smell the various animals, plants, and other odors that he had come to associate with what he called only "My Forest." He felt that he was on a road, although he could not tell how wide or crowded. He heard whispers in the distance. His sharpened hearing allowed him to comprehend all that was spoken.

Voice: That's him.
Second Voice: You sure? How can you tell?
First Voice: Look at his ears. They's pointy.
Second Voice: So? 'Borns have them dragon eyes.
First Voice: That one look like he has eyes? Come on.
Second Voice: Well, no.
First Voice: Besides, we need to eat. Don't make no matter if he's 'born or not. I'd bet that he's got some drakes.
Second Voice: He hear you?
First Voice: Nah, he couldn't. We gotta be at least a hundred yards away. Let's go.

What do you want to do?

I stop walking, sniff the air for their scent on the wind. Are my weapons already attached to my forearms?

Setting the post count right. Update in a second.

Imaskari sniffed the air. They were upwind, and he could make out their pungent stench. It didn't appear that they'd bathed in some time. The scent appeared to be nearing.

Do what?

(BTW, yes, your stuff is attached to your arms. Also... you are going to incur the standard Blindness effect penalties. Just saying.)

I retrace my steps, walking back from the direction i came, my claws raised to my waist height. I feel for the nearest sturdy tree, and speak to it, asking it to help me climb. I use my claws to get up the tree, waiting for them, using their disgusting scent easy to pick up, and their clumsy fashion making it easy to tell how close they could be.

Did I manage to get back into the forest? If so, did they see me go up a tree as I went back into the forest?

Ah, before I update-- you can speak to trees?

Ooc: Yeah, I mean, he lives in the forest, and the only things he can talk to, and I mean that as in he can find to talk to, are plants and animals, because humans/humanoids are hard to find in the forest.

Well, okay. Trees are kind of hard to talk to, that's why I hesitated. But whatever.

The first man stumbled and fell on his way, but the second caught up to Imaskari as he felt his way back into the forest. The man spat as he spoke.

Man: Come on, dragonborn! I'll kill you where you stand!

BATTLE!

Imaskari
Dragonborn
HP: 128/128
MP: 22/22

VS.

Gerald
D.S. Fighter
HP: 100/100
MP: 30/30

Gerald used Defend. Defense is raised by 10.

As stated before-- you do incur normal blindness penalties, although I suppose since he'll be used to fighting in the dark, I'll reduce them by half.

Well, since he's not moving, there'll be a better chance of Regrowth working on him, so I cast regrowth to entangle him.

Imaskari used Regrowth. Succeeds. Gerald is now paralyzed.

Imaskari's MP: 12/22

Okay, choose three moves.

First move, I jump from the tree onto Gerald, my claws in front.

I stab onto the ground, and try a heel kick onto his chest.

Last, I slash at Gerald's neck with one claw, and hold myself steady with the other claw.

That what you meant?

Not quite. This being a standard controlled RPG, you choose moves out of the set you have. There's the standard Attack as well as the abilities you gave yourself. They're posted at the top of the page, if you don't recall them. Or I guess you can run, which works depending on your Speed.

Then I attack three times in a row, those are my three moves, it's not fancy, but it'll do.

K.

Imaskari attacked. Deals 20 damage.

D.S. Fighter's HP: 80/100

Imaskari attacked. Deals 20 damage.

D.S. Fighter's HP: 60/100

Imaskari attacked. Deals 20 damage. (Technically you missed due to blindness but I figured you can't really miss a paralyzed person.)

D.S. Fighter's HP: 40/100

D.S. Fighter can move again.

D.S. Fighter used Slash. Deals 25 damage.

D.S. Fighter's MP: 20/30.
Imaskari's HP: 103/128

D.S. Fighter used Slash. Deals 25 damage.

D.S. Fighter's MP: 10/30
Imaskari's HP: 78/128

He got two moves due to being twice as fast as you; he'll get two moves every other turn. Not next turn, but the turn after. That's how Speed works. If he had triple your speed, he'd go twice every turn. ...yeah. Pick a move.

edit: BTW, your stat sheet was a bit screwy. Fixed it.

I use regrowth a second time, since I'm close to him, I think it would be a good possibility that I should use it again.

Imaskari used Regrowth. Misses.

Imaskari's MP: 2/22

D.S. Fighter used Slash. Deals 25 damage.

Darn it, it's impossible for me to win. I'd better get into the forest ASAP since that's where I'm best.
