Well since this forum receives nothing but death, a new game would help and I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, but I never heard of BESM and don't even know what it means. Is it similar to dungeons and dragons? Probably wouldn't take long to get to the used to the system right?

We have a while yet, as I am not starting anything until finals are over and I find a place to live.

Big Eyes Small Mouth is an anime based Role-Playing game. I can send you a pdf or a download link if you want a copy of the book.

There are three main stats, Mind, Body, and Soul and everything is dealt with using the d6.

I will probably run a Survival/Horror or Post Apocalyptic game, so plan your characters accordingly, bonus points will be rewarded for back stories, sketches, and the like.

Also, I do not wish to have more than four players. I can handle more, but it is better for both the group and game master to keep it small.

BESM stands for:
Big Eyes Small Mouth

Edit: Oops T3heDarkness and I must have been posting that last part at very similiar times lol-- so I'm gonna delete my explination of BESM.

I'd be willing to run a forum game of some sort for those who AIM might not work for..(I'm usually not available for AIM/chatroom gaming, my schedule is to weird lately.)

If anyone wishes to continue this game, I can send them the plot in PM, or E-mail. They can pick it up from where it left off.

Well I'll sign up for the BESM game if you don't mind and any other rpg's anyone puts up here. I think it would be nice too if someone could come up with a freeplay since they generally last longer and are more fun.

Edit: Lol. In the event nobody does take up this game, can you PM me your plot SephirothKirby? I'm kinda nosy like that.

I thought SK would just backburner it until his girlfriend was less opposed to RPG's.

Here is the BESM 3rd edition download link.
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service 15,728 KB
Don't get too excited about the powers, it will most likely be a low powered human level game.

Well, I was just wondering if you would want to continue it.

I wonder if she's opposed to BESM...

EDIT: Well, I went to the link, it's rather confusing.

I can't quite get it to download.

It says to enter a three letter code, then click on download. Wait for the dialogue box and click save.

It keeps partially downloading and then quiting.

Perhaps there are other means of downloading/obtaining this?

I would be willing to buy a book, if I could find one.

Um, wow. This is exactly why I don't have a girlfriend. Well there goes my chances of getting back into D&D. There's no one to play with in real life.

Haha hahahahahahaha Hahaha ha ha ha...

Buy the book, thats a good one, Guardians of Order went out of business and White Wolf had to publish the last book. It has sold out everywhere. Even on the internet this book is difficult to find.

I can try uploading it to rapidshare this evening. Or just maybe d20 Modern is the preferable game to run the story I am planning.

Nothing but gloom has been bestowed to this thread since the silver blade has been insterted to the heart of D&D.

This thread is disclosed.

But they are much more fun to laugh at when they do.

He offered to let someone take over, feel free to it, I won't be running Besm until sometime this summer.

How about we stick with 3.5 Rules? I have all three rulebooks and am used to those rules! If you don't have them, just ask me something and I'll look it up for you!
