..What would be the point? Every rule/ stat/ etc would have to be confirmed and reconfirmed any time that a disagreement came up between Players and GM. Or what if you dropped out of the game, then I'm really screwed. Since you have all the rule books, why not just volenteer to run the game yourself?

Ack! You got me there. Well, you CAN download the content of the rulebooks on the D&D section of the Wizards website...

We can dispute the rulebooks all month, but we can't roleplay until then. For the sake of roleplaying, let TheEvilDM use her book and level us up!!

If you have access to Megaupload or Rapidshare, I can send you a 3.0 version of the players handbook. Using the DMG or MM when you are just playing is metagaming and cheating anyway.

All right, I have conferred with my offline gaming friends as well (would they object to my learning /buying some books), I will be ebaying myself a copy of 3 &3.5 core books, in the meantime I shall try to update myself to an acceptable level of comprehension of WotC style D&D.

(I'm from friggnin Wisconsin, ok. Lake Geneva is a 20 min drive from here. WI gamers are all still angry about D&D 3e LOL-- or anyone over age 15 these days...god I'm friggin' old.)

Until I have done all my reading, I ask PC's to go easy on the rules lawyering and munchkin-ing.

Anybody that wants to participate in my duct-tape-held-together-*soon to be 3e game* can head over to the new board I'll start up sometime in the next day or so. My storyline will start off where SK's got paused and characters can jump in as needed.

That work for everyone?

Exactly how are the 3.0 Rules different from 3.5? I only know the 3.5 Edition rules so...

Three point five fixed a few typos and made spellcasters and rangers weaker. Rangers and Sorcerers at least got some new special abilities and feats to make up for it, but the Wizard still has the penalty.

(Most Spells were changed from minutes to rounds in the conversion.)

Unfortunately, I don't currently have a pdf copy of third edition but I have sent TheEvilDM the updates and a link to about fifty other books as well.
