My history teacher said this today:

"Of all the great military powers, the US if probobly the only one not trying to take over the world. Alexander the great, world domination. Romans, world domination. European nations during the crusades, world domination or at least middle east domination. Spain, domination of the new world. Britian, world domination or at least colinization. Hitler, world domination."

And i'd like to add to that list, Japan, world domination, Italy, world domination.

And thus is why the US is on the good side. some might argue that Bush is "teh evi1" and is trying to take over the world, but with all political stuff put aside, anyone can see that bush is not hellbent on world domination.

Anywho, ths US is dominating the world as we speak. It's the strongest country in the world, has the most power militarily and economically, is diffusing into the cultures of societies all over...yeah. Oh, and Cold War anyone? Maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't that whole thing about the USA and USSR fighting for WORLD POWER?

Global domination doesn't have to be as it is portrayed in the videogames, folks.

Cold war was USA and USSR fighting for existance.
