My answers first...


1. This is a time for us to be with family and some close friends. We enjoy Christmas as a time of bringing us all together. We open gifts under the tree early on December 25th AFTER Santa has been. Then we share a cooked breakfast and go out for lunch, which is usually cold meat, seafood and salads. Followed by pavlova!!! YAY!!!! Dinner is usually frowned upon... due to all the snacking after lunch.

2. Merry Christmas!!!! *grins* I'm a faerie... did you expect anything else?!!

4. Hmmm, a ride in Santa's sleigh to a destination of my choice.

5. A couple of DS games and hopefully a book or three. (I don't get the Wii until my birthday, so don't expect a Wii game!!)

7. Bah to one.... many people should expect one soon.

8. VERY PRETTILY!!!! It's groaning under the weight of our eclectic collection of decorations and it has LIGHTS!!! Pretty coloured lights that are distracting every night!!!

9. No lights on the house, and our immediate neighbours don't have any either. There are some few houses further back that have some, and we took a drive into the suburbs to check out some streets brilliantly lit up with them. IT WAS FUN!!!!

Just like every year I'll go to my parents and we'll have a special dinner with the family (my parents, my brothers, my big brother's girlfriend and myself). We'll probably do other family stuff as well such as watching old home videos or playing board games.

I like to get away from daily stuff like work and college, to spend some quality time with my family, and I also like all the overviews of the past year that are always on tv this time of year.

1. How do you celebrate this time of year?
In Sweden, our actual celebration takes place on christmas eve. So on the 24:th, I wake up at my grandparent's house, eat and spend the day with them, my mother, aunts, uncle and cousin. After the presents have been opened (sometimes just the ones to me, and they save the rest for later), I go spend the rest of the day with my father's side at my aunt's place, where I join up for the major present giveaway. This year it'll be a bit tricky, since my father's side is going to celebrate in my aunt's new cottage, three metric miles away from my mother's side, but I guess that matter will be solved, it usually is.
