Do you know what to do in the event you come across someone who has experienced a snake bite?
Are you aware that first aid for snake bite differs in various countries?

...well, you don't do any of the dumb things from the movies, like trying to suck out the poison or cutting further up the limb from the bite so the poison will flow out. That's all phony baloney.

I mean, assuming medical help is on the way, you're just trying to keep things copacetic until the professionals arrive. The faster the heart is beating, the more quickly the poison will spread; to that end, do things that will calm and soothe the victim (e.g. apply cool compresses against pain, have them sit quietly, make sure they keep the affected limb lower than the heart). Common sense stuff.

No idea whatsoever. Try not to freak out as a general rule, that's about it.
