Apricot-------short a (APP-ri-cot)
Leisure-------long e (LEE-zhər)
...occasionally I'll say 'schedule' with a sh sound at the start or 'leisure' with a short e if I'm goofing around. They sound a little phony and highfalutin to my low-class ears.

^ That's how I pronounce them too. I never even thought schedule could be pronounced differently and still be correct.
