Even if you don't run, do you have a pair of running shoes?
If you could name a pair of running shoes, what would you call them?

Re: Running Shoes
I don't run. I'm American, and these colors don't run, neither.
I'm pretty good at stumbling along stupidly, and meandering. Running stinks.
I have two pairs of running shoes (or 'tennis shoes/sneakers' as they're called stateside, or 'trainers' as they're called in the UK, or 'croquet slippers' as they're called in Canada), but I don't wear them much. I have to wear my steel-toes to work, and, well, they're a lot easier to slip on than the sneakers if I have to take out the garbage or salt the driveway or battle hostile injuns.

Re: Running Shoes
I don't wear sneakers much anymore, mostly in snow or doing lawn work. I usually do sandals.

Re: Running Shoes
I probably wouldn't mind sandals, only I'm under doctors' orders to wear compression stockings, and even I am not so terminally lame-o as to wear socks with sandals.

Re: Running Shoes
My years of working under Kmart's dress code really screwed up my feet. Sandals are the only shoes I can wear for long stretches without pain now.
On the bright side, my feet don't get nearly as stinky in sandals as they do in closed shoes, & they're a lot cheaper than other shoes, even the good ones with arch support.
I wear socks with them anyway, just because I find it more comfortable.

Re: Running Shoes
...yeah, I get it. The steel-toes hurt my feet to wear. Self-defeating.
In the two-and-a-half years I've worked at Amazon, I have had objects fall on my foot twice, and both times they fell on the part of my foot that aren't protected by the safety toe. Steel-toes can screw off.
