If money were no object, would you choose to stay at the most expensive hotels in the world? (see link)
Why? Or, why not?
What kind of things would you consider when choosing a hotel?

...I wouldn't mind staying in some fancy-dan place.

Last time I stayed in a hotel was when I was helping my lunatic sister move to Denver for art school back in 2001----------I didn't have my license, so we needed to crash at a sleazebag motel one night. It was alright.

...if I went some place on vacation, I'd find cheap accommodations, because I'm a miserable penny-pinching old skinflint. Presumably I'd be going to wherever to experience the place, not the hotel room-------------like, no matter how nice the hotel room is, it's not why I'm there. Wait, are you tellin me this hotel room has a bed? And also...also a teevee?!? Wao.
boo--------------a real american weirdo

Hmmmm... honestly, when it comes to hotels, I tend to prefer location, like why I would be going there :P But if I were to say, visit my boyfriend, I'd pick the best quality hotel nearby, something with a nice view for both of us, maybe even a table to play tabletop with or even assemble a model kit together.

I do tend to avoid cheap hotels anyways, some family members of mine had some bad experiences with bed bugs from some of them...

...although I will say, If money was no object, it would be nice for next time I go to a convention though lol. Don't have to worry about hotel expenses :P (Just plane expenses --)

A lot of those just seem like places for famous people to avoid paparazzi & mobs for long stretches. Typically when I travel, I just think of the hotel room as a safe place to sleep, store my stuff, & get internet access.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
