(on the technical note, while I like ROMPlayer's design, it has many redundancies in the code making it tricky to edit -- could have used SSI)
Remember, the old design is over four years old
I was surprised seeing the new election today, thought it would never begin this time. Great job Sean.
About the homepage: Didn't see you changed something. But I have to admit I didn't viewed the sourcecode ^^ So I guess you changed the technical side?
I'm happy to see my design was reused. Old memories coming up...

I also checked the old election page again. Man, I spent A LOT of time into my Yoshi campaign  Didn't remember I made that much.
Well, this time I won't participate as a Campaign Manager, but I'm really looking forward to read others stuff. And if somebody want me as a running mate, I would love to help, probably would even make some comix, interviews or stuff. Just talk to me ^^

P.S. What did you mean with tricky to edit, Sean? Example?
Sorry, I'm too lazy to check out myself :D

Mostly the menus. If you change one thing on one page, you have to change it on ALL pages

Yeah, that was because the SMBHQ server didn't have PHP, or at least Jay told me so.
Because he wasn't sure what's possible, I tried to make it as easy as possible.
And heh, it wasn't supposed to be used for another page (or in this case election) so that modifications were needed :D

Looking at the amount of candidates nominated, I've decided that if not enough candidates are nominated to fill the parties, I will re-sort the candidates so each party has an even number (currently about 4-5 per party).

However, there is still a week for more candidates to be nominated so I may not have to do the re-sorting.

Tomorrow I will post the final candidate list for the parties.

One candidate from the both the Radical Extremists and Retro Activists will be moved to the Subconians and Nintendoites to even things up a bit.

Who I move depends on how active the candidates have been (i.e. I will not move people, who are already deep in their campaign).

I can't see Stanly fitting in any other Party, but do what you want.

Sorry I've been sick for most of the week.

I decided not to really move anyone, though I disqualified Load Ovan for obvious reasons.

I'll try to sort out the website sometime next week and start the preliminaries soon after.

Make sure all the campaign managers mail in their candidate profiles (look at the 2004 website for template)

Waiting a whole year? XD

Besides, the Ninendo-ites are lacking members. Was sorta hoping that Mr. Sean P could find it in his heart to let me sneak in, but It's always a long-shot. :)

In the end though, Even if Waluigi can't participate this year he can be a political pundit. :D He could use the money.

No way man. XD I aint waiting that long on purpose.

Looks like Waluigi will be on the TV networks then, bantering away about who's going to win. Better get started on some comics. :D

(Yeah, I may not be competing, but it doesn't mean I can't contribute :) )
