Earn $2300 Per Day! (shovel required!)

See those rocks in your town? Every day one of them will be special. Go up to every stone (or until you find the right one) and hit it with your shovel. If it is the right one it will turn red and shoot out a money bag. Hit it until the rock turns back to it's regular color (it will start to fade, but keep hitting it!). Then collect the money bags. I think the maximium number of bags is 5 though. But from what i've found it gives off 2 $1000 bags, and 3 $100 bags.

Yeah, I just noticed that earlier too. I was searching if there were bugs under the rocks and then money comes out!

There's also the shiny spots. Dig it up, and you'll find a bag of bells. If you bury the same bag back in the same hole, it disappears, BUT after a while, you'll find a tree there, surrounded with bags totalling to triple the amount! (Note: I'm not sure if things can go wrong.)

I've gotten 3300 out of the rocks.
Yes, if the money tree dies you lose what you planed. It also apears that the animals are capable of looting the trees before you get to them.

I believe if you get off 8 hits you get a bag worth 10,000. I happened to do so my first try. Velma the goat gave me a hint about hitting my shovel on rocks. Nice Mario game easter egg too.
