Leave behind a few of your favorite quotes from probably the most quotastic RPG in the English language. I'll start with a few less-obvious ones I like.

"Run, run! Or you'll be well done!" - Kefka, while trying to kill Gestahl

"I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE you!" - Kefka, after Celes stabs him

- During the final confrontation, as a reply to the heroes' cliché, melodramatic "what we've learned on our journey and why we fight against evil" speech. This line gave rise to the term "self-help booklet scene" among gamers to refer to similar sequences in other games.

"AHEM there is SAND on my boots!" Kefka on his way to figaro castle.

"Son of a submariener!" Kefka after having Figario castle sink underneith the desert sands.

"... Leave us the dog eats strangers." Shadow South Figaro pub.

"Brother I thought he was some bodybuilder who had wandered from his gym" Terra/Tina upon meeting Sabin fr the first time.

"My life is a chip in your pile anti up!" Setzer after agreeing to help the returns get to the southern continent.

"Okay, fine uncle Ulty really wants you to paint his picture." Ultruss right before he's about to get a nasty surprize.

Damn...what was the exact quote...

"That's Shadow! He'd slit his momma's throat for a nickel!" -What's-his-name telling Locke about the Ninja at the bar. Sound like a bad joke almost.

Edgar Figaro is the name you're looking for.

"Game over don't feed the octopuss kids!", "EEEoowwch seafoud suop!" and "Muscle heads hate 'em!" Ultoss Lette river encounter.

Even though I've been playing through the GBA versoin the old SNES quotes seem to stick better in my memory.

Plus, Cyan's whole "licentious howler" rant in the pub at Nikeah. Classic.

We might as well call this topic "Best Kefka Quotes"

but then we would just be repeating his script

How is it our fault if Woosly's translation gave all the best lines to the Villan?

I don't recall the dialog right of the bat but the whole Sabin Cyan exchange over wheather or not they should eat the food on the Phantome train was well done.

"You're a regular little munchkin" Sabin to Gau at the Velt.

"You strangers you scare animel go away!" Gau if you hit attack him on the Velt.

"Hurry up Mr. Thou we're leaving!" Gau again at the Velt after you get him to join your party.
