If you want a huge fill of effeminate swordsmen, this seems to be the game for you. I can see Terra is upset by how her fellow heroes look. Though, maybe it's because Cloud is staring at her breasts.

I bet this game will rule, gameplay wise but God, who the hell is Exdeath? Geez, I want a good roster! I mean, why no Crono?! It'd hype CT sales and allow me to cry with nerdy happiness. Secret of whatever (decent game) had Cecil in it so why no crossover in this case?

While I'm very pleased that FFVI/6 is finaly getting some respect for a change can we the characters from it look the way they were intended to? Yeah I'm still bitter about KH2 Setzer I'll admit it.

I mother****ing hate Tetsuya Nomura.

Even so, I want to play as Kefka, regardless of lame redesign. I want to yell "PHOENIX DOWN" if I lose.

Also, why is Jecht the only masculine looking character in that entire roster (barring the armored villains, of course)? It's kind of creepy that Nomura can't design/redesign a character without giving him a FABULOUS haircut and some pretty earrings.

I think that Amano did a good job of making everyone look like they are from the same world by using the same artwork but still make them look unique. At least for the fact they won't all look androgynous. Amano's artwork is much more usable in gaming than the other guy (can't remember his name).

^^^Some of those characters looked feminine before. Like Firion, Cecil, Cloud, Leon, monkey boy, Emperor, and Sephiroth.

Still, I think the roster could have been a bit more cooler. Like, instead of Cloud of Darkness, have that one dude who was being evil. Wait, that's a bit too broad for FF3. Uh, that Djinn guy?

basically, it was better then expected, so it won the debate. i mean, my expectations.



also why Terra. shes not really the main character. I'd rather have Edgar or shadow or something.

terra was the "mainest" character but i'd say it could easily be split between celes, locke, terra and the figaro bros. the game dosn't revolve around terra like it does cecil and cloud and etc.

Lol no. I never said anything about being gay. Look, I hate Nomura's designs more than anyone, but I don't know the man. For all I know he's a nice man.

And as for FFVI, Terra IS the main character for three reasons:

1. She starts the game
2. She's the one character who, even if you don't get her, joins in the ending anyway.
3. The whole WoB revolves around her, which is the part that has the linear story. -CSM

I'll definitely concede that Locke, Celes, Sabin, and Edgar along with Setzer and Shadow are the supporting cast though.
