Which character model do you think looks the best in SSB:M? I think Bowser looks the best. His polygon count must be insane and he looks really cool and mean. I think that's the way Bowser should look like in other GameCube and future Mario games, instead of the huggable Pokemon-Like Bowser we're beginning to see.

I think Nintendo and HAL did such an excellent excellent job on the characters. They had to make a new, mature Link, who looks really cool, and then they have Marth's Cape and Mario and Yoshi and so on. The graphics get better as you zoom in on the characters, not worse. Much effort and precision was done in the character art development, and you can't help but marvel at it.

I'd say Luigi, only they gayified him in this game. He stupid antics turned me off.

So, I guess my vote goes to Marth. Nice animations. Some of Roys' didn't appeal to me as much.

I'm gonna go with Giga Bowser. Friggin' insane.

I'd Say Mr. Game & Watch. He looks pretty cool when he turns around while holding the hammer.

Peach, Bowser, Marth and Mewtwo.

I'd have to say Link, sheik and Marth.

I'd say Luigi, only they gayified him in this game.

Bowser,(And obviously Giga Bowser. O_O) and Ganon. (Cape, cool armor..) The only thing I really didn't like about Ganon's design is that his black armor stretches like cloth. =/

I like Marth the best. But I also really like how they did Fox. If you look through the trophies of Fox they have the old N64 version and then the new one, it's a huge improvement.

I think Siek look pretty good as well as Bowser.

Giga Bowser was the epitome of awesome.

Luigi may look stupid in some aspects, but he easily wipes the floor with most of the characters. A lot of his air attacks don't even look or seem powerful, but they send people offscreen without a great deal of effort. I think he's a lot stronger than Mario, at least.

Bowser(and Giga Bowser), Ganondorf(although his sword would be a nice addition to that), and Link.

Not to go off topic, but have any of you ever seen metal Giga Bowser? Completely badass. I once had the misfortune of fighting GIANT metal Giga Bowser. I lost. Badly.

Well, my attacks completely quit phasing him, not even slowing him down. He slowly stomped towards me with malice glinting in his metallic eyes. I was using the Ice Climbers, He did a massive downward smash and I jumped away but Nana didn't make it in time and was sent flying off the screen. Unfortunately Giant Metal Giga Bowser is taller than most of the characters can jump, including a lone Popo. He caught me in mid air with one massive fist about 3x the size of my character, and Popo flew off the screen to join Nana. I was already on my last life so all I could do was stare blankly at the screen and try to comprehend what had just happened. Less than a minute before I'd been completely kicking his butt and now I was dead. I slowly reached over and shut off the Game Cube.

The funny thing is that before that fight I hadn't even realized that metal blocks could appear in the Giga Bowser battle. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I wish Giga Bowser was accessible elsewhere, since I'd love to take a photo of one. Especially a metal one.

Giga Bowser'd be a great hidden character.

Anyway,I think they did Link,Zelda,Marth,and Bowser good.

I personally like the level of detail in ganondorfs model, though I agree his sword should have been added.

As for others, I like bowsers look, I think they made Capt. Falcon a muscle-bound flamer, and roy and marth look pretty sweet (especially their capes).

I've been trying to beat Giga-Bowser with roy lately, because with no projectiles its much more difficult, and when i had him on the ropes using roys sword dance move, he somehow obtained bunny ear and a super mushroom. It was insane, I couldn't even see him when he jumped he was so far off screen, and when he did come down, there was about a second to react before i got obliterated by a smash attack. I can only imagine what it would have been like with a metal box or the cloaking device [img]graemlins/lol.gif[/img]
