The Dark Lord's Campaign part 1 (open challenge)
Soma Cruz, is destined to become the Dark Lord. Soon, after many attempts to stop it from happening, Soma Cruz realizes the power he shall obtain and is no longer against it. Now, with his dark powers growing, he is closer to becoming the Dark Lord than ever. Many fighters are trying to stop him, but can they stop him before it's too late? Challenge him and see.

I'll just make the first post.

Soma Cruz appeared in a flash of light.
"Ah... here is where he is meeting me."
He observed the strange planet. Buildings surrounded him, looking strangely different from earth. He had been challenged to a duel here, and he was more than glad to come, and gain the soul of a soon dead one.
Minutes passed....
Soma sat down as he waited.
"Patience," he said to himself.
Half an hour passed.
"Well, you wanted a battle?! Where are you?!?!"

Soma Cruz appeared in a flash of light.
"Ah... here is where he is meeting me."
He observed the strange planet. Buildings surrounded him, looking strangely different from earth. He had been challenged to a duel here, and he was more than glad to come, and gain the soul of a soon dead one.

(( The field obviously doesn't have to be this field ,It was just a suggestion. ))
((I'm not done with it quite yet, for instance the part about the dark side of the planet.))

((All right, here we go. * puts on headphones * ))
V V appeared on this strange planet that had blue soil and small craters everywhere.
V V standing at the foot of a hill then looked above with his hand over his brow and saw a large beam of light coming from the sky hitting what seemed to be the center of the hill.
V V: That must be one of the large moving beams that the inhabitants spoke of.I wonder why they're all so afraid of it, it's just light.
Then as he came up to the top of the hill he realized that it wasn't a hill at all ,It was a huge crater, but nonetheless he had found the lightsource that he was looking for.
V V jumped from the top of the rim of the meteor opening his wings to glide to the light he then looked down to see a stranger sitting in the middle of the crater.
V V yelled out to the stranger saying,"You know it's dangerous to be sitting there most people can't take the heat of those rays"
Then as he started to decend he felt a strange presence .
One he had never felt before.
He then knew that he was in for a fight .
V V now decending at high speed like a bullet towards the stranger cocked his arms back. To make his armblades appear.
He crashed to the ground like a missile hitting his opponent, at least that's what he thought .
Once V V got to his feet and looked around he saw that his enemy was gone,but he still felt the strange presence though.
He took out the heavenly crossbow and started floating upward .
Turning in every direction frantically looking for his opponent. Still aiming his crossbow,and being sure not to panic.
He was ready for anything.
((I'm not done with it quite yet, for instance the part about the dark side of the planet.))

Soma Cruz with an evil smirk on his face was surprised when he heard his opponent chuckling.
The smirk was now gone from his face and replaced with a look of surprise as what appeared to be V V then disappeared into thin air.
V V his voice coming from every direction due to the walls of the crater that they were in then said,
" Did you really think that I could be beaten so easily?"
Spikes of light then appeared all around Soma.
He then felt a very large pain in his gut.
As he cringed forward in pain, he coughed up some blood.
He was when he saw his own blood fall to the ground this early in a fight.
He then looked forward to see V V reappear about 35 yards away.
He also saw V V holding a glowing sledgehammer.
V V then took the hammer and rested the head on his shoulder.
Soma started to yell and was about to lunge at V V ,but then one of the spikes shot at him like a bullet, piercing his right shoulder.
He looked down at his wound and was even more outraged.
Then another spike went into the lower left part of his back,then another into his left leg.
Then suddenly there was a flash of light as all of the spikes that were surrounding him were now covering Soma.
They encased him like an iron maiden.
V V held out his right hand towards Soma and clenched it into a fist.
Then the glowing spikes grew in length .Stayed that way for about two seconds then shortened back into their original position.
Blood came from the "Iron Maiden of Light"
Then V V with his arm still enstretched he raised his hand. A giant glowing spike grew from the ground up.
V V: You know, I'm surprised that you haven't screamed in pain yet. Most people would have by now,but you've endured.
Well let's just see how long it takes before you finally crack and Shreik in pain."
The "Iron Maiden of Light" then dropped onto the spike.
The spike itself (now with blood runnig down) began to turn whilce the "Iron Maiden of Light" stayed in place.
V V then got the satisfaction of getting what he wanted when after at least 10 min. of this torture he heard his opponent give out a blood curttling yell of pain.
V V: Aaah. Now don't we feel better?
That's really all I wanted from you.
You can go now he then turned around and walked away .Leaving this poor soul in his torture device,
"You can go now." he said coldly.
As he was walking away he waved his hand back at him as if to say goodbye.
Then the entire 70 foot spike and all of the 3,4, and 5 foot spikes Blew up in a flash of light.
Leaving nothing but a cloud of dust, and a bleeding, bruised,broken,and humiliated pincussion of a man.
As V V was floating away he noticed that all of the surounding buildings were beginning to burn from the heat given off from the explosion.
He didn't hear any screams,so he didn't worry to much about it.
Just then, a knife went by him glazing the side of his face.
He then knew that the battle wasn't quite over with just yet.
He then turned around to see a broken down Soma struggling to get up while holding his left shoulder.
(probably where he was impaled by the giant spike,because there was a hole there that was much larger than the others all over his body).
V V : You just don't know when to give up do you?
He then descended slowly towards his enemy.
V V: You don't stand a chance, we're right in the middle of one of the famed ,"magnifying glass sun beams" of this planet I can now reach my ultimate power.
V V was then covered in a thick and broad ,golden suit of armor that covered the most part of his body. The only things that weren't being covered were his head, and the feathered part of his wings.
His hair was now long and was flowing in the wind.
His armblades were now a golden color,and were now slimmer ,but sharper.
V V: You like it? It only appears if I'm in a very, heh heh ,"well lit" environment.
V V: This armor is made of a material that is the fourth srongest metal in the universe.
I also grow stronger while I'm in this armor.
And aaall I have to do is concentrate for a minute or two.
And give up a little speed, I also can't fly for very long while I have it on,but that should'nt be a problem,because I can still jump high ,not to mention my lightbeams.
He was now back on the floor of the crater and was walking slowly towards his opponent.
V V: The only time that I use this technique this early in a battle is if I'm punishing my enemy,or if I'm desperate.
V V: Guess which one is your case.
He then pulled out the ,"Avien Flametongue", and it grew a few feet longer and about 7in. wider. Bringing it to a grand total of a 6 foot long blade,a 9 inch wide blade,an 11 inch gaurd,and a 1 foot 2 inch long handle.
V V:Oh and my armor doesn't go away if the sun beam does,but that shouldn't matter since the lightbeam shouldn't be gone for another day or two.
He then knocked the opponent's knife out of his hand and forced him to the ground with a kick.
He put his armored boot on top of his opponent, readied himself to deliver the fatal strike ,and said the following famous line. "Ready to die? Mother F**ker."

The chuckle then turned into a maniacal laugh of insane evil, something that would possibly drive demons away. Soma's eyes were red, strands of his hair shaking, blood running down his face.
"HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!........ You, you're mindless."
The countless holes covering Soma's body began to grow smaller, and smaller....almost gone.
"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU THINK, THAT I, WHO SHALL SOON BE DRACULA, LORD OF DARKNESS, COULD BE DEFEATED BY THAT?!?! I AM THE DARK LORD, AND SHALL NOT BE DEFEATED BY THE WEAK BELMONTS AND COUNTLESS OTHER WARRIORS, LIKE THE FORMER DRACULA, VLAD THE IMPALER!!! I AM SOMA CRUZ, AND I AM DRACULA!!!!"
Soma Cruz disappeared, Veloce Volair's foot no longer pressing in on his back.
"I'LL ADMIT, THAT DID DO PAIN, BUT JUST LIKE YOU'RE LIFE, PAIN GOES AWAY!!!!"
Soma's hand was now holding a dagger, him cutting it across V V's face.

[OoC]:I think that we should both try harder at this.Not necisarilly winning,jus writing better-like.
Srsly though,we both have big problems with our writing in this battle,and I think we should both try harder.
Anyway,here it is.[/OoC]

Soma had appeared out of nowhere,spooking VV and causing him to jump backwards just as he was cut across his face.
As he went back afew droplets of blood flew up into the air.
Soma seemed to think that slashing a dagger at his face would've caused a great deal of damage,when in fact it was just a scratch.
VV could feel a small trickle of blood running down his righht cheek,it's warmth being quite comforting to the cold fleshy skin of his face.It's crimson glow standing out on his pale skin.
It seemed that Soma had disappeared just as soon as he had appeared.
After a few moments of looking around for his opponent,VV could hear a faint whisper of a chuckle echoing around him.The anxiety growing inside of him.It seemed that fighting against the new dracula seemed to partially get to him.The chuckle soon grew into a meniacal laughter.
VV looked around more franticly, when suddenly ...
Soma appeared behind VV,and slashed at his back,only to have the dagger stopped by his armor.
He disappeared just as VV turned around.
Soma appeared to his left,and slashed at vv's face.Asmall cut formed right after the knife left his flesh,another scratch.
Again Soma disappeared just as VV turned to his direction.
Soma did this about ten more times at near super speed.
Every time though,was his attack stopped by the armor.
The anxiety VV had felt for the moment earlier,was now replaced with annoyance and anger,with a hint of malice.
It was pure Annangerlice.
VV still looking around for his opponent,wasn't looking as frantically now.He figured that Soma would eventually just come out as he had been for a while.VV then just decided that he might as well just stay where he was,he was just wasting energy looking around like he was.At least this way he would be able to sense movement more easily.
Soma appeared again,rushing at VV straight from the left.
Right as he was about to hit VV with a stab,VV delivered a strong right jab directly to the boy's face.
This caused his face to scrunch up as VV's fist caused a small crater in Soma's face as it was connected.
As VV's hand came out of Soma's face it (the face) straightened back up.A crunching noise could be heard as Soma's nose broke to the left,and his left cheek gained a new hairline fracture.
At the very second that VV Pulled his hand back He sent a huge left uppercut into the gut of Soma,causing him to bend over and cringe in pain.
Just as that happened, VV brought his right forearm downward,and his right knee upward,sandwiching Soma's head between the armor of the two body parts.This caused him to spit out blood.
He did this a second time,this time holding the position,and delivered a left hook directly to Soma's face,causing him to stumble backwards and to the ground in sitting position.
VV wasn't about to give up though.
He sent a light crystal at his enemy's throat.
It was one inch from Soma's throat,when he caught it with his right hand.
He stood himself up, and said ,Do you think that I'm gonna be hit by a simple thing like this ?I'm the dark lord.I CAN'T BE DEFEATED!"
With that a grin came across VV's face.
Soma:,"What are you grinning a-"
Just then a massive explosion erupted from the light spike that soma was still holding.
His entire right hand came off with this,along with chunks of flesh from other parts of his body.
Soma,"Clever,but I won-"
With that a series of light spikes landed in his left arm.
This time Soma didn't waste time monologueing.
He quickly strained his body,and shot the spikes back out all in random directions,then jumped out of the crater to get away from the upcoming blast.
He expected then to hear a series of explosions from the crater.
But none were to be heard.
The spikes weren't made to go off.
They were meant to be a distraction.
Just then Soma turned around only to meet with a Light beam floating in midair.
It fired,burning a hole the size of an orange through his left elbow,leaving soma's arm to hang by not but the two flaps of skin on each side of his arm.
At the same time the beam sent him flying backwards,above the crater.
At that time Soma could feel a series of sharp pains go into his spine.By doing this VV knew that Soma would have to pull the spikes out by hand.With a great deal of pain and straining,he removed two of the spikes,these were the decoys.
He was about half-way across the crater,when the one spike left.
The one just out of reach of Soma's grasp.
The only one that was meant to go off,did so.
The blast caused Soma to stop moving in the direction he was going,and to go straight up.
VV knew that his enemy would more than likely be paralyzed when he hit the ground.
Up up,up he went,then down down ,down he fell, limply.
He landed,with a,"CRASH!" on the ground directly on his back.
A crunching noise could be heard as the rest of his spine shattered like glass.
When the dust cleared VV could be seen walking towards Soma.
VV came upon his enemy.A malicious glare in his eyes.Just as VV was about to deliver the final blow,VV said,"I should finish you off now,but I won't.
We'll keep going. Get up."
Soma couldn't though , even if he was able to heal from this,he wold have to wait before he could get up.
He just had his spinal cord punctured,then blown up.It would take a while before he could get back to his feet.
VV:,"No? Well okay."
He pulled out his flametongue.
VV:"You know,there are very few ways to kill a vampire.
Some myths,some facts.
Some never even heard of.
You wanna know my personal favorite?" (He said while crouching down towards his heavily breathing opponent.)
What am I saying? Course ya do."
He patted his opponent on the shoulder and stood back up.
"My personal favorite,is the well known ,"'puncture the heart and decapitate the vamp"' Technique.
He said while circleing his opponent and propping his flametongue on his shoulder.
VV walked over to Soma and put his armored boot on his chest with a,"Thump!"
,"It is quite a sight to see,truly a gruesome thing to witness.
Why don't I show you how it's done?"
He said while holding his sword to Soma's throat.
VV struck swiftly cleanily.
His blade sliced through the very edge of Soma's large vein in his neck,the blood shot out about 3 feet in the air,but only for a few seconds,he had already lost plenty of blood.This along with the gravity of the planet caused the spewing geyser of blood, to come down to a slight trickle of crimson tears running down his neck..
After this,VV struck again his blade just missing Soma's newly founded black heart by milimeters.
VV:,"hmm"
He pulled his sword out of the wound,and kicked his opponent on the left side of his already deformed face.
He then stepped away a few paces,and said to Soma,"Now get up and fight."
He did this knowing full well that he should just finish it,but he didn't.For whatever logic he had,he didn't,he let this one live...For the moment.
VV looked up in the sky at this moment and said,"Damn,that was quick...I'll go ahead and do it,just in case."
He mumbled something under his breath for a moment,"mmm..mm.....sacrifice....machine...armor.. ..vanquish.....Galactic.....
With that, his armor shattered and disappeared into dust.
Again it didn't seem that there was any real logic behind this move,he must've had something planned...

As he went back afew droplets of blood flew up into the air.
Soma seemed to think that slashing a dagger at his face would've caused a great deal of damage,when in fact it was just a scratch.
VV could feel a small trickle of blood running down his righht cheek,it's warmth being quite comforting to the cold fleshy skin of his face.It's crimson glow standing out on his pale skin.
It seemed that Soma had disappeared just as soon as he had appeared.
After a few moments of looking around for his opponent,VV could hear a faint whisper of a chuckle echoing around him.The anxiety growing inside of him.It seemed that fighting against the new dracula seemed to partially get to him.The chuckle soon grew into a meniacal laughter.
VV looked around more franticly, when suddenly ...
Soma appeared behind VV,and slashed at his back,only to have the dagger stopped by his armor.
He disappeared just as VV turned around.
Soma appeared to his left,and slashed at vv's face.Asmall cut formed right after the knife left his flesh,another scratch.
Again Soma disappeared just as VV turned to his direction.
Soma did this about ten more times at near super speed.
Every time though,was his attack stopped by the armor.
The anxiety VV had felt for the moment earlier,was now replaced with annoyance and anger,with a hint of malice.
It was pure Annangerlice.
VV still looking around for his opponent,wasn't looking as frantically now.He figured that Soma would eventually just come out as he had been for a while.VV then just decided that he might as well just stay where he was,he was just wasting energy looking around like he was.At least this way he would be able to sense movement more easily.
Soma appeared again,rushing at VV straight from the left.
Right as he was about to hit VV with a stab,VV delivered a strong right jab directly to the boy's face.
This caused his face to scrunch up as VV's fist caused a small crater in Soma's face as it was connected.
As VV's hand came out of Soma's face it (the face) straightened back up.A crunching noise could be heard as Soma's nose broke to the left,and his left cheek gained a new hairline fracture.
At the very second that VV Pulled his hand back He sent a huge left uppercut into the gut of Soma,causing him to bend over and cringe in pain.
Just as that happened, VV brought his right forearm downward,and his right knee upward,sandwiching Soma's head between the armor of the two body parts.This caused him to spit out blood.
He did this a second time,this time holding the position,and delivered a left hook directly to Soma's face,causing him to stumble backwards and to the ground in sitting position.
VV wasn't about to give up though.
He sent a light crystal at his enemy's throat.
It was one inch from Soma's throat,when he caught it with his right hand.
He stood himself up, and said ,Do you think that I'm gonna be hit by a simple thing like this ?I'm the dark lord.I CAN'T BE DEFEATED!"
With that a grin came across VV's face.
Soma:,"What are you grinning a-"
Just then a massive explosion erupted from the light spike that soma was still holding.
His entire right hand came off with this,along with chunks of flesh from other parts of his body.
Soma,"Clever,but I won-"
With that a series of light spikes landed in his left arm.
This time Soma didn't waste time monologueing.
He quickly strained his body,and shot the spikes back out all in random directions,then jumped out of the crater to get away from the upcoming blast.
He expected then to hear a series of explosions from the crater.
But none were to be heard.
The spikes weren't made to go off.
They were meant to be a distraction.
Just then Soma turned around only to meet with a Light beam floating in midair.
It fired,burning a hole the size of an orange through his left elbow,leaving soma's arm to hang by not but the two flaps of skin on each side of his arm.
At the same time the beam sent him flying backwards,above the crater.
At that time Soma could feel a series of sharp pains go into his spine.By doing this VV knew that Soma would have to pull the spikes out by hand.With a great deal of pain and straining,he removed two of the spikes,these were the decoys.
He was about half-way across the crater,when the one spike left.
The one just out of reach of Soma's grasp.
The only one that was meant to go off,did so.
The blast caused Soma to stop moving in the direction he was going,and to go straight up.
VV knew that his enemy would more than likely be paralyzed when he hit the ground.
Up up,up he went,then down down ,down he fell, limply.
He landed,with a,"CRASH!" on the ground directly on his back.
A crunching noise could be heard as the rest of his spine shattered like glass.
When the dust cleared VV could be seen walking towards Soma.
VV came upon his enemy.A malicious glare in his eyes.Just as VV was about to deliver the final blow,VV said,"I should finish you off now,but I won't.
We'll keep going. Get up."
Soma couldn't though , even if he was able to heal from this,he wold have to wait before he could get up.
He just had his spinal cord punctured,then blown up.It would take a while before he could get back to his feet.
VV:,"No? Well okay."
He pulled out his flametongue.
VV:"You know,there are very few ways to kill a vampire.
Some myths,some facts.
Some never even heard of.
You wanna know my personal favorite?" (He said while crouching down towards his heavily breathing opponent.)
What am I saying? Course ya do."
He patted his opponent on the shoulder and stood back up.
"My personal favorite,is the well known ,"'puncture the heart and decapitate the vamp"' Technique.
He said while circleing his opponent and propping his flametongue on his shoulder.
VV walked over to Soma and put his armored boot on his chest with a,"Thump!"
,"It is quite a sight to see,truly a gruesome thing to witness.
Why don't I show you how it's done?"
He said while holding his sword to Soma's throat.
VV struck swiftly cleanily.
His blade sliced through the very edge of Soma's large vein in his neck,the blood shot out about 3 feet in the air,but only for a few seconds,he had already lost plenty of blood.This along with the gravity of the planet caused the spewing geyser of blood, to come down to a slight trickle of crimson tears running down his neck..
After this,VV struck again his blade just missing Soma's newly founded black heart by milimeters.
VV:,"hmm"
He pulled his sword out of the wound,and kicked his opponent on the left side of his already deformed face.
He then stepped away a few paces,and said to Soma,"Now get up and fight."
He did this knowing full well that he should just finish it,but he didn't.For whatever logic he had,he didn't,he let this one live...For the moment.
VV looked up in the sky at this moment and said,"Damn,that was quick...I'll go ahead and do it,just in case."
He mumbled something under his breath for a moment,"mmm..mm.....sacrifice....machine...armor.. ..vanquish.....Galactic.....
With that, his armor shattered and disappeared into dust.
Again it didn't seem that there was any real logic behind this move,he must've had something planned...

I'm going to assume that this means soma has died.
This along with your last move would lead me to assume that VV and in turn I would have to start the next event.
I have plans for this event if that's the case.
Am I correct in assuming that Soma has lost?
If this is the case then I would gladly PM you the ideas I have in store for the event.
Also if this is the case,could we then please get a pro in here to review our posts,so that we may learn from our mistakes?

OoC:this isn't overkill,it's just to advance the character and the story of the dark lord series.(/OoC)
VV could feel the darkness increasing in him.
This was quite ironic ,making him the dark lord,considering that he was a light manipulator.
'Course his personality was always quite dark,whether he be insane,a trickster,malicious,or even just plain mean.But this beat em all out.
He was growing a bit paranoid.He knew his enemy was dead,but he was going to make sure.
He walked over to his opponent and held his sword over the chest of Soma,ready to strike.
What he did next was actually quite gruesome.
He seemed to be losing all sense of logic.
Why do this? His opponent was dead.
With the darkness inside him still growing,he gained many strange twisted thoughts.
Thoughts you would probably think of someone lik,Kefka,orothers like him having.
It was to late VV's mind was lost,possibly gone forever,left somewhere in the corner of a locked cabinet,inside of a locked room,inside of a giant insane assylum,inside of a giant maze ,hidden somewhere in his head.
With a quick stab and a wicked switchblade of a grin on his face,he stabbed right below soma's heart,then to the left,then above it.
A perfect square was formed around Soma's cold dead heart.
VV pulled the boy's body off of the ground by the hair,leaving the heart and squares of flesh where they lay.
Then with a strong stroke the blade sliced through Soma's neck.Very little blood was left in his enemy's body and even if there was ,there was no heart to pump it.So there wasn't much flow coming from the severed stump of his neck,just a two small squirts of the crimson fluid,then no more.
VV tossed the head over beside the severed heart,letting it roll around in a circle when hitting the ground until coming to a stop on it's own accord.
When it did stop VV took the decapitated body and tossed it in the air a good 13 feet up.Then shot a mini-van sized orb of purple light at it.
After a very brief two seconds,there was nothing left of it other than the heart and head.
VV walked over towards them,still wearing his meniachal grin.He picked up the severed human head by the hair again,study it for a moment,and then did something that truly demonstrated his insanity.
He took the head from the bottom ,and shoved his hand up through the neck.It was giving off a disgusting ,"squisch!" sound as he did it.
After he worked his hand into the jaws he began using it like a puppet.
He mumbled a few things under his breath while moving the jaw,just to get the feel for it.
,"Rah I'm tha DARK Lawd FEYA MEEE!Hehe."
He jested, before pulling his hand back out and tying the head to his belt by the silvery hair.
It was ominously quiet in the area as he did this,you could cut the tention with a knife I'm sure.
He looked down at the heart lying on the ground ,still covered in the slimy fluids of the human body.
He crouched down ,picked up the organ and licked it one good time on the side.
"mm."
After this he egan to take a bite out of the heart before thinking,"maybe it'll come in handy for something else later.What do you think?
He asked while looking down at the head.
He grabbed it by the bottomm and moved it in a nodding motion,while saying to it,"Yes I think we should."While nodding with it.He tucked the organ away in his pocket.
He chuckled then got up and said to himself,while still smiling,"Well bob,What should we do?Should we spare this planet....Hahahahahaha,naw just kiddin'."
He began walking into the distance.
As he did this he threw his fist to the sky like the famous scene from the breakfast club. As he did this the meteor he had just sacrificed for bombarded the small planet with enough force to go straight throgh the core.
He then pulled it back around with his telepathy ,jumped on,and rode away ,looking for the next challenger.

Yes, Soma is dead. And you don't have to continue to Dark Lord's campaign, unless you want to.
